Paris is my favourite city in Europe, and perhaps the world. This is a city that holds on to it’s culture and heritage. Something I wish my home city would do. There is so much to see, and really, this is the reason I like to return. There is always something to behold when it comes to Paris. This city, to me is an architectural photographers dreams. The buildings, the lights, the people, the art, all add to the beauty of this spectacular photo subject. While I discuss much about the photography opportunities on this blog, one must also mention the many other offerings Paris holds. Wonderful restaurants with it’s abundance of patios. It feel like to don’t have to go very far for patios. Paris is also known for its Art. Many museums offer something for any and every aficionado, from historical, to modern. Attractions are also not lacking. There is so much to see. You can even visit Edith Piaf or Jim Morrison as one the amazing cemeteries in the city. Père Lachaise Cemetery is a must while visiting Paris. Shopping is also a great adventure in Paris. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a boulevard in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, with the wonderful Arc de triomphe de l’Étoile. Paris is clearly a city that knows what it’s doing when it comes to being a world class city. No matter where you are, or where you go in Paris, there is always something to take your breath away.
